This via ferrata is located in Baveno near the Tranquilla campsite, following the signs to Monte Camoscio you reach the start, the route name 'Picasass' was chosen in honor of all those people, the picasass precisely, who since the 1800s have worked on the extraction and processing of the famous pink granite from the Baveno quarries. The via ferrata offers throughout the itinerary an exceptional panorama on Lake Maggiore, the Borromean Islands and the mountains surrounding the Lake itself.
