Description:
You don't always have to walk far to see far. Wasserklotz is actually an inconspicuous elevation of the Reichraminger Hintergebirge. If you start on the forest road to Dörflmoaralm and try to spot the summit cross on the wide alpine meadows, you will despair. When you finally stand at the small forged iron summit cross and turn once around your own axis, you are overwhelmed by how far the view extends. No 'disturbing' elevations stand in the way. The view extends to the west to Großer Priel, Spitzmauer and Sengsengebirge with its highest elevation, Hohen Nock. In the south you can look at the imposing Haller Mauern with Großer and Kleiner Pyhrgas, and in the east you can see into the Gesäuse under good conditions.
