Mountaineering tour on 24.08.2013 to Watzespitze (3533 m) via East Ridge. The key section is IV, but the predominant difficulty of the ridge is II and mostly done without ropes. From Kaunergrathütte, it takes 3-4 hours ascent and another 4-6 hours descent on the same route. Alternatively, descend via Hängegletscher, advisable only in early summer.
