The Werdensteiner Moos, located about 6 km north of Immenstadt in the Thanners district, is considered a refuge for many endangered animal and plant species.
To guide and inform hikers, a previously missing path connection from Thanners to Eckarts was created along the southern edge of the moor, supplemented by information boards, interactive elements, and a viewing platform.
