Description:
The Scheffauer traverse starts for us at Hintersteiner See. From there we circle the mountain to its north side and then ascend via Widauersteig to the summit (2111m). It impresses especially with unobstructed views into the Inntal and to the main Alpine ridge, making it a popular excursion destination in good visibility.
