Mountain hike in Totes Gebirge to Wildgößl
Total approx. 1600 hm and 17 km distance.
From Gössl via „Breuer Franzl Steig“ (No. 214) in several switchbacks through the forest. At the trail junction right towards Pühringerhütte, through Kanzlermoos and Drausengatterl (1380m) to Vorderen and Hinteren Lahngangsee. At the huts in Elmgrube left onto trail 201 and through the dwarf pine and alder zone over the gravelly path to Abblasbühel. Again left reaching first over a steep saddle and another 20 min ascent the Wildgößl. Back to the saddle and following the markings towards Gössler Alm. Below Salzofen continue on trail No. 213 to Aiblsattel. From Aiblsattel continue to Gössler Alm and back to starting point Gössl.
