We are waiting for the Christ Child, and that works particularly well in the Bergisches Land! Because Engelskirchen is located there. Anne Willmes meets 'the real Christ Child', surrounded by many children handing in their wish lists. Her Christmas journey also takes her to Wuppertal, where she joins the light swimming in the Langerfeld garden hall bath and visits the city's Christmas markets with WDR colleague Catherine Vogel. Also to the 'Döörper Weihnacht' in Ruppichteroth, the 'Blotschenmarkt' in Mettmann and the Christmas decorated farmyard at Grünewald Castle in Solingen-Gräfrath. A great experience is also the lantern tour on the Panarbora treetop path near Waldbröl.
