Description:
The very prominent climbing crag Zitterklapfen (2,403 m) is a 2 km long summit ridge. The name allegedly derives from the swaying of the withered weather trees. „Klapfen means rock head.“ The hiking route from Au and Schoppernau leads via Bodenvorsäß, where managed alpine pastures invite to a rest with a snack.
