Zniev (985 m a.s.l.) is the northernmost peak of the Žiar mountain range. It is located in the geomorphological sub-unit Sokol, in the highest, northeastern part of the range, above the village of Kláštor pod Znievom.
The summit features the ruins of Zniev Castle.
