Șipote Waterfall, Apuseni Mountains is located in the Trascău Massif, on DN 75 which crosses the Arieș Valley. The waterfall is at the edge of the road, between the localities Poșaga and Sălciua. Access can be made from Turda on the road to Câmpeni. The springs of this river are 800m higher, in the mountain, where they emerge to the surface through an izbuc (karst spring) at the base of the Bedeleu massif.
