In this video, I take you on an unforgettable journey through one of the most beautiful natural gems of Gorski kotar – Zeleni vir nature park, located right on the border with Slovenia, near the town of Skrad. We will walk through the stunning Vražji prehod canyon, about 800 meters long, where the Jasle stream breaks through dramatic rock walls, sometimes only two meters wide. The path leads through galleries and bridges carved into the live rock – a real feast for the eyes and soul!
At the end of the path, a breathtaking sight awaits us: a 70-meter-high waterfall cascading from a mighty rock overhang in front of the entrance to a mysterious cave, where Zeleni vir springs. Inside the cave hides an emerald green pool that gives the area its name and mystical charm.
