Jungfraujoch

1. Jungfraujoch is the highest railway station in Europe and is located at an altitude of 3445 meters below the slope of the peak Mathildespitze (3557m). A little further along the ridge is the four-thousander Jungfrau at 4158 meters. The railway line runs through a tunnel named Jungfrau, which is carved through the mountains Eiger and Mönch. The line also has intermediate stations with excellent views of the surrounding peaks. The camera is located at the mentioned railway station, and on the image we can clearly see the nearby peaks and glaciers.
