Cima Ombrettola

Description of mountain:
Cima Ombrettola is 2931 meters high peak in the ridge, which is on the southwest closing the eponymous valley, on the north cirque / mountain pasture Fuciade by mountain pass Passo san Pellegrino. Easy accessible peak between three-thousanders Sasso Vernale and Sasso di Valfredda is a nice viewpoint. On the summit is bigger cairn and improvised cross with barbed wire. The easiest access to the summit is from the mountain pass Passo Ombretta, but more interesting is approach on the ridge from the mountain pass between Ombrettola and Cima del Bachet.
