Rifnik

Description of mountain:
Rifnik is 568 meters high peak, which is situated south from Šentjur pri Celju. From the top, which is known for archaeological site is a nice view towards Šentjur and surrounding hills.
Detailed description of the archaeological site you can read on the top of Rifnik, where the site is nicely renovated and well presented.
On the northern side of Rifnik (10 minutes below the summit) are located the ruins of castle Rifnik, which was first mentioned in the year 1281.
