Besides the long-leaved scabious, we also have the medium scabious, which is similar to the long-leaved one. The Hungarian and field scabious grow in valleys. The Illyrian scabious is borderline.

It is not possible to confirm from the picture which species of scabiosa it is (although from my experience, the inflorescence of long-leaved scabiosa is much more lush and the color more pinkish). The location where it was taken might help. For example, I know that only long-leaved scabiosa grows on Prehodavci. Hungarian scabiosa grows on lower hills (not just valleys).
