Round-headed Rampion (Phyteuma orbiculare)
Description:
The round-headed rampion is a plant observed from May to July on mid-mountain meadows. The plant has blue to violet flowers recognized by ray florets turned upwards. Before fully blooming, it gives the impression of being carnivorous as the ray florets resemble grabbing fingers.
