Zois' Bellflower (Campanula zoysii)
Description:
Zois' bellflower is a plant that thrives only in the Slovenian mountains (in Austria and Italy only along the border with Slovenia). The plant can be observed in July and August mainly above 1500m in rock fissures, where we find a few individual flowers. It rarely happens that we find more than 10 flowers in one place. Zois' bellflower has light blue to purple flowers that grow on a plant up to 10cm tall.
