Subtitles were in the text at the beginning. No time for the rest. As for music, "Samo edini" by Siddharta fits best. From start to end of the trip I didn't meet a living soul.

Again a four-day trip around Velebit, start in Lukov Šugarj, then Šugarska duliba, Stap and back. Crampons and ice axe stayed on/in the backpack. Above Paklenica there's real winter, as well as on Lička stena of Velebit. Some pics for friends.

We used the holidays for wandering around southern Velebit nasmeh

1st day we hiked the path from Pećica past the Mamed cave (well, we'd say it's a bottomless pit velik nasmeh

), then continued to Mala Panoga and Velika Panoga and circularly back to the cave and down to the valley. We didn't meet anyone except two blue rock thrushes and goats nasmeh

.
2nd day we went along the secured path to Anića Kuk and circularly back via the normal path to Velika Paklenica. Interesting path, as our 10-year-old put it, we were "jumping over lava" velik nasmeh

, there are many holes on the path, so skill is needed to jump from rock to rock nasmeh

3rd day we visited Mala Paklenica - did a circular path back. Also on this path you need to climb over "boulders" and jump over stones velik nasmeh

. We met only two snakes and noticed bear presence zavijanje z očmi

All paths are marked, some markings a bit less visible.
At the end of the vacation we also "popped" to Zir, which we've observed many times from the highway nasmeh

Ivino vrelo is not for drinking

If anyone walks around Visočica, better not drink water from Ivinog vrelo (cca 100m below the peak). I just pulled out a rather decomposed dead bird from it.

Otherwise Velebit is fascinating as always.

In recent days we also completed two hikes on southern Velebit. On the first day we climbed to Visočica in the afternoon. From Rizvanuša a poorer macadam road leads about 12 km to our starting point at Jadrina poljana.
First day: Visočica, easy path, past the hut under Visočica and a small loop back. The views were wonderful.

Second day: longer circular route from Jadrina poljana to Jelova Ruja, further to Panos, then Stapina and back across Dalmatinska vrata to the starting point. To Jelova ruja the path is less marked and often overgrown; in this part we heard strong roaring, probably of deer, although it was similar to a bear's call. From Panos there are wonderful views; the landscape around Stapina was very beautiful to us.
