You can get down to Glinščica from Kozina along the bike path on the old railway route. No border control of course, but how safe it is, both legally and ultimately health-wise, is another question.

I don't recommend climbing in Glinščica right now (and apart from us I haven't seen anyone doing it either), it's too hot. But that's why it's currently an even nicer place for swimming.

When movement restrictions between municipalities ease, it'll be the perfect time to visit Glinščica valley. Besides sport climbing and karst caves, you can find three very nice via ferratas here that you can combine into a one-day trip. nasmeh

How about visiting Glinščica from Krvavi potok or along the old railway track? PCT, PCR; ....???

I was in Trieste a couple of days ago. No one at the border... neither going nor coming back. PCT still required though and HAG test no older than 24 hours.

Along the dry bed of Glinščica to the waterfall then direct ascent to Comič's monument. Descent along the nicest little ridge into the valley.mežikanje
For the end, visit to Roža via ferrata and home. Road through San Lorenzo village is normally drivable. No control at the border.

Wednesday, 27.4.2022 (BIKE trip)

It happened that I went to Glinščica about the tenth time or so. This time only to the very beginning of the wonderful little valley, a bit more above and around it. On a bike it's different than walking. Great trip, next time I'll add something in the valley and extend to the coast, also by bike velik nasmeh

Along Comici ridge to the monument and then descent down the first gully from the top.
On the way back I got stuck in traffic on the highway...zadrega

Next week we'll wander around Primorska and I'd like to see Glinščica valley. I know there were some topics on it, but I'm mainly interested in starting points and how to route a circular path. Distance is no problem.
