Good for you in our parts, when you'll hike around us drop by Selo ask for me first five letters and we'll chat something. Otherwise these parts have a very good book too. Ironworking and transport paths in high Gorenjska, who wrote it I don't know they have it in library. I don't think bad of hunters but you ran into Ciril he stands out a bit more up. Vikend has even better view than hunter hut on Talež. Nice greeting to all

This interests me:
Kupljenik – Pl.Prihod – Babji Zob – to or near Pl.Ricman – past Jame pod Babjim zobom – direct path north to Kupljenik
user ''misace'' nicely wrote almost two years ago and added photo, but anyway...
my attached map shows it's possible to get quickly from Babji Zob to Kupljenik-cave path. Is that some climbing? Better to stick to detour descent near Pl.Ricman past cave?
Kupljenik – cave path: currently well visible in practice, maybe marked and passable without issues (snow and dangers)?
Since first time here and chance it might be dark already, recommended to return same marked path for that reason?

If you haven't been here yet, I advise against this path because you'll spend lots of time searching. Probably old map, path from Kupljenik to cave no longer marked. All marks on tracks from Kupljenik lead only to Babji Zob. Only path to cave starts well below village when turn right (marked but poor). Nice trip already just to Babji Zob, other option nicely marked path to hunter hut on Talež, back same or descent to Bled then road to Kupljenik. Definitely advise against cave-Babji Zob path in these conditions.

From planina Prihod to Zob goes no problem regardless conditions, if stick to edge continue to Ricman and Gamsov prehod (gully). Gamsov prehod hard to pass due avalanche, rope quite high. If go further next good option crossing to Vedernik cave. Lower part stick under wall to catch path past cave back to Kupljenik or descend to gravel road into village. Not marked stroll, have steep slopes, debris, fallen trees etc. Recommend dry.

Through žrd or Gamsov graben (pass) new rope since last year but still demanding. Golcarska renovated too, entrance bit hidden from below goes towards Kristalna cave bit higher more east. Golcarska old path Kupljenčani took to Ricman and further Selska Jelovica to log. Golcarska has rope too spring finish it bit it's quite airy, or locally not for English in sandals...

Finally we conquered Babji Zob, eight of us and one little dog. All except our alpine rose, first time! Sunday had good forecast, but weather really tricked us, no blue skies and full views. Otherwise dry, path from Kupljenik marked. One part same as to Talež where we've been, but started in Šobc then. Path interesting, quite steep ascent, then flattens, descent and ascent again... Really nice view of Lake Bled, Galetovec, saw some Bohinj mountains. Triglav still hiding from me. Afternoon at home, blue skies as proper!

Gradišče - Cave under Babji Zob (and back) 15.8.2023
Path not marked but relatively well visible. Only exception where fallen trees on landslide to avoid. Path continues at approx same height so easy to find.
Path no longer marked but saw three completely faded marks.
Steel cables on most exposed parts. Caution for slip needed almost whole path.
Unfortunately under cave didn't find path over Gamsov prelaz to planina Ricman .
Path (Gamsov prelaz) drawn on old maps, not on newer ones.
