And a fun fact: did you know that Slovenian and Serbo-Croatian languages are the most distant from each other in origin among Slavic languages. Thus Slovenian is closer in origin to any other Slavic language, from Russian to Czech. Only because of centuries of living together have they become a bit more similar.
