Tadej, that history search could still be improved in my opinion. It's nice if you type author and it gives all threads he opened (with posts from everyone else). But if we want to find our own post under someone else's thread then problem arises. E.g. thread To Triglav?, which has 276 pages already. How to find my posts there or on any other authors' threads. Hard or I don't understand search right. zmeden

E.g.: It would be nice if at search I type thread To Triglav?, myself as author and it gives all my posts on that thread. Or gives on one page all posts on my threads and also my posts on others' threads.
Just thinking, maybe wrong or not. nasmeh

OK, thanks. I always put only in the main search top left next to hribi.net and it threw out totally random. EDIT: Just tried but result same. Is there another search field somewhere and I'm "blind" not seeing it nasmeh

anzecokl, on this page there are now 2 search engines: one with window next to hribi.net text and red button Find, the other is below it - blue tab Search. That second one is not random.

Yesterday there was quite some visit on Lipanca and above it. So we two wouldn't make even more dren on Mrežce and Debela peč, we turned to Brda, which were deserted… Wind was the only company, and fog that took the views about half an hour before we reached the summit… But the winter idyll was still beautiful, just right before the announced warming… 

The morning looked promising, a beautiful day was in the forecast...

...where the larches already glow with golden color...

...and from where there is such a wonderful panoramic view...

True winter idyll in the second half of October...

Suddenly clouds gathered and later also fog...

...but on Planina Zajavornik the sun was still shining...

Snow spirits along the path have fallen asleep... :-)

There was no more track of the predecessors here...

...and shone nicely through the fog several times...

...and wonderfully illuminated the winter scenes...

...even the wind helped so that here and there for a moment on the path to the summit we even glimpsed the blue sky...

This was more or less all as far as views from the top...

...and Radovna in the valley bathed in the sun... We two also went quickly to the valley, to the sunshine... :-)

Right @zlatica. At the top there was fog at moments so thick that we joked that probably even choughs are walking on foot somewhere below, because even they weren't in sight... mežikanje

Today with skis over Zajavornik and past Lipanca to Brda.
To Lipanca path normally passable also for pedestrians without snowshoes, further without them through brush impassable, and trail routed in unusual direction too.

Road from Mrzli studenec to monument plowed, parking lots included. velik nasmeh

In the morning from planina Zajavornik, Blejska koča and Brda.
Still clear at the start, later cloudy with light wind. Path BP, snow patches only still in shady hollows. Met about 50 hikers.

Printer's or scribe's goblin intervened :)

I don't know how far the road at Mrzli studenec is plowed, at planina Zajavornik not plowed.

Does anyone know what the conditions are like from Mrežc to Brda and further to Debelo peč. Is it passable?

Today there were visitors on both summits.
Quite a few ski tourers and hikers.
Beautiful weather and views.

We started at small and quickly filled parking lot at intersection behind Šport hotel. Lengthwise parking along main road no longer recommended due to wardens, even more due to fines they diligently issue nasmeh

. Gravel road from Kranjska dolina plowed only to planina Javornik and barely. No vehicle tracks visible.

Ascent to Brda from Debela peč direction requires winter gear. Snow in summit part hard and firm, slope substantial, few predecessor tracks. Descent other side by summer variant served deep loose snow, so even with snowshoes descent not exactly pleasure.

Parking at the junction in front of the Sport Hotel

Mists on Javornik pasture and first runners on the groomed track

Viševnik and Draški peaks already basking in the sun, below still frosty

Higher up the sun catches us, snow still compact and good for walking

Planina Lipanca. Small crampons are recommended to here, it is also possible without them.

Above the hut the snow is already transforming into soft sun-exposed snow due to the sun.

We go in the direction of Debele peč, we will return elsewhere.

The path is naturally rutted, not exactly comfortable.

Debela peč does not interest us, our goal is Brda.

On the summit section the snow is hard and firm. There have not been many visitors here.

The summit is windswept bare, just a little lower there are snow drifts.

We descend on the opposite side. The snow is heavy and crusty to depth.

The incidence angle of the sun is different on flat sections and the snow is therefore better for walking.

Planina Javornik, this time in the sun and with a crowd of people.

Yesterday nice circular path past hut at Lipanci to Mrežce, Lipanski vrh and on to Brda. Start-Pri Rupah. Nice path, wonderful views from path. Path itself without features.
