I'm also before a "boot decision". Namely for easier approaches, also everyday use in nice and drizzly weather. So mandatory membrane + quality...
Aja, and that. Scarpa out due to narrow "fit", Garmont due to poor quality, maybe 5.10, but no membrane...

Currently using Alpina Anapurna and Tundra. If toes sometimes hurt (on very long tours: Triglav/day etc.), not exactly nails, then I know I didn't descend most successfully, or correctly.
Both models quite comfortable and cheap for me. Tundra has no Vibram. Doesn't bother me yet. Especially like that latter can be polished with classic shoe cream. Suede leather sprays vary (some destroy seams) and quite expensive.
