As you said, these hills lack nothing! We can be happy that we can visit them! nasmeh
Good luck!

Looking at autumn and early spring pics from first page of this thread, my soul sings; in such these areas are best. nasmeh

We visited CPP again in all its beauty. It is circular, just the right length and pleasantly steep in some places velik nasmeh. Weather didn't cooperate this time, but that is outweighed by blooming blackthorn plantations under Srebotnik, also before Vipota and incredibly large bunches of daffodils on the slopes of Vipota itself. I recommend it, especially now nasmeh.
We park at the large parking lot by the Savinja and set off into a foggy day1
At the first underpass we cross to the other side of the railway2
The markings soon direct us right towards Celjski grad3
On the way we come across a rest area for many tired ones :)4
In front of us quickly appears the wall of the mighty castle5
View into the valley...6
CPP continues up the steepest slope past the gostilna pri Kmetcu7
This middle sign is ours, first goal will be Srebotnik8
View back at the town9
View ahead, the fog is getting thicker10
On the way we meet ET. But they said he returned home :)11
A little more and we'll have to turn on the fog lights :)12
The mayor of CPP13
We still have a little bit of asphalt, but soon we'll turn into the forest14
The nimble young lady clearly shows us the direction. We turn right15
Now it's getting serious. Slowly we'll have to go up …16
Srebotnik. Pleasant slope, today quite different from what we're used to17
Someone got their shoes off right at the start :)18
It doesn't spare us either. Mud for export19
At the top, a small surprise in the form of a crowd of hikers20
On the opposite side of the ridge, the path is even muddier. A slide is guaranteed21
But the plantations of blooming heather make up for everything. You look and admire22
We descend into the gully and soon start climbing the slope again23
View from the slope of Tolsti vrh towards Srebotnik24
We're already on Tolsti vrh and its karst pole25
This is about 10 m deep, which is not visible at first glance26
Celjska hut and February ski slope27
View towards Grmada, which is our next goal28
It's definitely worth stopping at this hut :)29
No one outside, but in front of the door there is still a bunch of hiking poles30
We will stop at the hut on the way back, so we continue31
Characteristic cross and wish bell, but not many hikers32
High-mountain atmosphere at over 700 meters :)33
The weather is unfriendly, so we quickly descend34
This time we will stop35
How very different atmosphere than in the Celjska koča :)36
Here no one, although the Celjska koča is also open37
We head further towards Vipota. Exactly here runs the municipal boundary Celje / Laško38
Immediately above the chapel again fields of blooming heather, this time in the sun39
Exceptionally beautiful :)40
We continue past the old homestead right below the summit41
Vipota, in this season still quite a panoramic summit :)42
February, but the trees are already budding43
We descend to the main road44
The gorge is quite enclosed, but there are still quite a few houses in it45
We still have to go through here ...46
... and we are already at the starting point47
Walked. It came to 18 km and 1100 m of ascent48

Where exactly was the starting point or where did you park?

@Kafetarca
There is a large arranged free parking lot here.
This is actually the starting point for Grmada and Celje Hut. For CPP, as described above, you start along Savinja back towards Celje and then as described.

@Kafetarca ... Tomo wrote correctly. I come from Celje direction and this parking is approx 2 km from Celje train station towards Laško. A bit before you turn left and cross bridge over Savinja. Parking is by the railway. Also coordinates: 46.2125967N, 15.2620336E

But it is true, when Savinja floods in Celje, exactly there it floods first
