Debeli vrh, Ogradi

Saturday morning wasn't exactly promising, but where there's a will, there's a way, even if foggy, but it leads to the topmežikanje
After paying the "entrance fee" we drive to planina Blato, and already hurry past planina v Lazu, which always enchants.
Due to fog we decide to go only to Lazovski preval and decide there how to go on...hmmm, good thing women are stubborn, hehe, we reached the top of Debeli vrh, since it's densely "aided", so no problems despite the fog.
As for the "difficult descent", we bypassed it via the left traverse, which is crumbly but ok.
Descent the same to the pass and then ascent to Ogradi. The fog cleared a bit every now and then, but views were still mysterious and revealed just bits now and then.
Of course, solitary tour, today probably even more due to weather, but I'll surely come back...
beautiful, beautiful, but only for looking :)1

pl.Blato - pl.Laz - Debeli vrh - Ogradi - pl. Krestenica - pl.Blato

Monday is the nicest day for loners, this time even served with a sunny day and lunar night show, and without paid toll to pl. Blato.
In the original desire to traverse three peaks (Ogradi, Debeli vrh and Škednjovec), a quite strong cold wind around the ears at pl. Laz whipped and quickly blew the latter out of mind.
For descent to the notch of Debeli vrh I chose scrambling down the gully, rock firm and holds good, just excellent. I also checked the higher approach at the tooth...I'll save it for next time mežikanje Descent via eastern side back to Lazovski preval. Waymarks, in my opinion, way too many on the whole route, since the path isn't that orientationally demanding and the trail is already well trodden.
Except for a chamois on Ogradi, who curiously watched my ascent, I met no one.
Autumn idyll, but only in lee nasmeh

Congratulations, beautiful...it really blew hard here yesterday and the cold did its thing too.
We were just looking yesterday that we need to do such a nice loop in autumn through these pastures and to some peaknasmeh

Thanks mukica nasmeh
I agree, for October rambling it would really be a sin not to visit Bohinj peaks or at least the Valley of Triglav Lakes.

Today we went to Ogradi from pl. Blato. I checked the description and after 10min. there should be a sign pointing right to pl. Laz. But no such sign mrk pogled Instead there's a mark pl. Jezero - steep path. A bit further sign: pl. Jezero and Laz (straight on the path). Of course we went on and arrived at pl. Jezero. A friendly hiker explained to us on the way how to go from pl. Jezero to pl. Laz. Since we went early, all was OK and we were rewarded with great weather and views. But others came behind us who had the same problem. First time and on unknown terrain and of course they didn't conquer the peak. It would be good to put that sign back.
that sign is missing :(1

14 days ago I was returning from pl. pri jezeru and I too noticed that the sign is gone. I don't know what's behind it, whether the path to Laz is being abandoned, or if there's a commercial thing by the society maintaining this path to bring as many people as possible to the hut. I think this path is maintained by the same society that has the hut at pl. pri jezeru.

It's true, it's not there as "grem v hribe" described. I logically turned right myself (pl. Jezero - steep path) and arrived at Laz.

There is a thing called a hiking map and it usually contains quite a lot of useful information about paths. mežikanje

What surprised me most was that the hiking trail from pl.Jezero to pl.Laz is turning into a forest road. A couple of weeks ago we actually met machinery there that was fixing some kind of road. zmeden

This is similar to what they did in the past to the Jezero pasture and Dedno polje and to Krstenica pasture. They started maintaining the path or road already at the end of summer.

However, I see this as a possibility for mountain biking to these pastures, which would be very welcome. nasmeh

To put it mildly, it's possible by bike to these pastures even without these roads. But illegally, since such activity is prohibited in TNP. So the new forest roads won't influence the spread of mountain biking in this area.

What interests me most is that one can dig through TNP without regard for damaged nature. And protected!!!

Catastrophejezen Individuals notice, but have no power to sanction violators. TNP folks obviously sleep 'the sleep of the righteous' for many summers or busy themselves collecting parking fees. The inspectorate probably deliberately closes its eyes, because it would be almost impossible not to spot warnings and complaints in various media and on multiple web sites about the abuse of nature happening in the country's only national park. Irresponsible responsible i.e. the minister probably follows the example of minister Gregor.... "Happy hiking!" says the emperor, minister Gregor nothing.eek
