For a similar hike about a week ago I took a good 2 hours. But I skipped Dravh, and started from the parking at Soriška planina (Bohinjsko sedlo). By my estimate, the hike from the mentioned junction extends by about an hour or an hour and a half. It's a nice tour, mainly due to the views. You can see even Baška grapa, Julijce, Karavanke, Sorica,... Lots of military bunkers, Italian barracks now a sheep shed. Anyway, interesting. And once you reach the Dravh summit, to the others it's mostly a traverse with little ups and downs. The path is also well marked. Finish in the Litostrojska hut or in Brunarica at the parking where it's open. In summer both were open. Enjoy.

This trip I did through Škofja Loka to Železniki, through Zali Log to Sorica, on Soriška planina before Brunarica there is a big parking lot where I left the car, on foot past Litostrojska hut to Možic and Lajnar, path well marked, returned to Litostrojska hut above parking at Brunarica on Soriška planina, by car further to Bohinjska Bistrica, Bled. Trip very interesting for viewing remains of barbed wire, bunkers, barracks from WWI. In Sorica village view, monument to painter Ivan Grohar. Along the way many more attractions, check the net, you'll get all info and times, nice trip.

If heading there soon, I'd add that on part of road between Železniki and Zali Log they're renovating the road (near Jesenovec); half closure, but every now and then temporarily (for half or three quarters of an hour) close all traffic. If coming to Škofja Loka from Kamnik side, need detour via Medvode or Kranj, Zbiljski most closed for renovation.

I think now they don't close the road anymore, but arranged detour right in the Sora river bed. This week I drove several times by bike or car past there, always went through the bed, except today Sunday.

I'd just add that fortifications, bunkers and barracks remains are from period between the two wars. Summits above Soriška planina are part of Rapallo border defense line fortified by Italy, over Ratitovec runs Yugoslav defensive line called Rupnik line. Rapallo border named after Rapallo treaty signed 12 Nov 1920 assigned large piece of Slovenian territory (ex Yug.) to Italy. Under Slatnik stands well preserved Italian barracks. Regards Margu

On Thursday, 30.12.2010 I walked the peaks around Soriška planina (Možic, Šavnik, Slatnik, Lajnar and Dravh) as the first stage of the Ratitovec circuit. Some places were icy and crampons were almost mandatory. It's also good to have a stamp pad with you. I got the logbook at the hut by the parking lot on Soriška planina (took the last one in stock), they also have it at Litostrojska koča. Regards

I also walked part of the trail around Ratitovec in September, when these hills had nice autumn colors. The other part will come when the snow melts.

I have now decided for the variant that PD offers, to do the circuit four times in four consecutive seasons. For winter I am still missing planina Pečana, Klom, Kosmati vrh and Gladki vrh, points closest to the hut itself. I intend the summer versions in one day, of course.

For my stage I had the starting point in Sp. Danje and walked to Soriška planina via Mišji grunt, and back the same way. Initially I planned to get the logbook at the hut on Soriška, the next day drive there and do the loop, but the weather was so perfect that I did everything the same day.

On Monday from Petrovo brdo to planina Kovce then mule track to Soriska planina. Trail OK, only snow on clearings frozen below covered with dry grass and leaves so passage without crampons not safe there.

Because the weather forecast didn't promise a nice afternoon, I set off very early to Soriška planina and from there to its balconies, which were clad in flowers and occasionally in mists, and there was no lack of sun either. The view towards the Julian Alps was quite nice, Triglav and its neighbors were sunlit all morning, but Črna Prst was really black. It was blowing quite nastily, so accompanied by sheep around noon I headed to Litostrojska Hut.

Yesterday, on 29.07.2011 the hikers and female hikers of PD Velenje climbed 4 peaks: Dravh (1547 m), Lajnar (1549 m), Slatnik (1609 m) and Možic (1602 m). Starting point was a bit above Petrov Brdo (803 m) in Primorska, where we arrived at nine in the morning. Weather served us excellently despite not very promising forecast, just on peaks it was quite windy. In total we walked around 5 hours, a bit after 14:00 we arrived at Litostrojska Hut, which was our goal. Photos follow
