A few more pics on the way to Bog. saddle from Saturday 21.2. Snow mixed, the deepest sinks to the knees. But last hour to saddle quite strenuous as it ascends more or less steeply.

Friday's ramble from Vogl to Mahavšček I finished at Dom pri Krnskih jezerih, where on Saturday 3.8.13 after a sleepless night I started walking around 5.00 am. That the night was lively was taken care of by a herd of crazies who only collapsed at 3 am. One poor girl from all the beer efforts lay behind the table, where the not very chivalrous lads left her. I really pity the poor thing to the bottom of my soul.

In warm morning breeze I barely dragged myself along otherwise very nice trail over Krnska Škrbina to top of Krn, where traffic density was appropriate for the day. From top descent along the ridge, along which sadly bleated heat-worn sheep, to Krnska Škrbina. Continued over Batognica, which always enchants me with its gentle beauty and WWI remains that remind of cruel history at every step.
Followed continuation of trail from Batogniško sedlo (Prag) below Vrh nad Peski to monument and further along Tminsko to Prehodavci and valley Za Lepočami, where time for longer cooling.
From Prag to Za Lepočami I met only one group of hikers sweating uphill to monument in worst heat and extreme temps. Crazy and dangerous. I would never choose this trail for ascent. Even for descent it was hellish, but with 4 liters of water and cooling in shade somehow managed.

Well cooled I headed from Za Lepoč to Vratca aka Bogatinsko sedlo, where another cooling and then past Koča pod Bogatinom to Slap Savica, arrived around 18.00.

Despite hellish heat another nice trail along endless mule tracks with great views.
