I really wonder if hikers look past when there's something bad around us. You post beautiful photos of beauties around you.
From recent outings to Mrzlica, Kum and Čemšeniško you can see lots of fallen trees, cut-off tops of conifers, hiking paths impassable in places, but no matter, you somehow push on.
I mean weather catastrophes that are more frequent and destroying our Earth.

These aren't any weather catastrophes.
Fallen trees after storms have always been and will be. Now we just see it all because we go many places and see on the net.
When I was fifteen a storm downed half our forest, the neighbor even three times more. Don't even mention scorched spruces and marks on chestnuts from strikes.

We just have different views.
Hurricane winds like lately, there weren't that many before, I remember from my childhood, ...
Lightning was there before and still is, sure they strike water-rich trees.

Also in the hollow of Vodnikova graba below Sv. Duh on Ostrim vrh there was strong windthrow recent days. Passage on Sunday was quite difficult.
