Grintovec via Dolge Stene

From Konc to Kokrsko. Snow starts a bit before the cable car, above the tree line one could ski nicely. Turned to Mala vrata then along the ridge of Long Walls to the summit. Old base frozen, some places windblown to ice, elsewhere new snow up to 30 cm. From the summit descended the marked path. Upper part windblown, some ice slabs, lower part new snow on crusty base. Interesting, half of them went to the summit via Jame today.

Hi.
Long time not been around our parts, a bit silly question but... What's the access to Kokrsko sedlo now? Still possible to park under the cable car or a bit before? Or leave the car before the hut in Kamniška? Thanks for the reply.

Parking is as before. Everything normal. Upper parking lot is OK too.

Regarding the marked path over Dolge Stene in Planinski Vestnik 1944/01 it says:
"...The ridge of Dolge Stene gives the best approach to Grintavec. The old path leads along it and passes from it to the SE edge of the peak. Now it is heavily abandoned and few know about it. It is marked, but the masses of pilgrims prefer the boring scree of the common path over Streha."

Bojan, thanks for the info. And I fully identify with the author of this article about "plodding through the boring scree of Streha" 
Tone, "bureaucratic stuff". Since the trip is in the PD framework, that variant would "exceed my competencies as a 2nd degree guide"; if we went as a "group of friends", of course there would be no such obstacles

For someone used to pathless terrain or at least unmarked paths, orientation shouldn't be a problem. The hardest to follow is perhaps that steep section just before reaching Streha. But there are the most visible old markings.
