What are the conditions on the path like, has any snow fallen in these areas, is it icy? Interested in the path from Divje Lake.

Three guides and trainees on Saturday hiked the FELDBAN route, a narrow-gauge railway built in WWI between Godovič and Idrija. This branch was built in September 1916 in 20 days. Mostly built by Russian POWs, 20,000 of them, needed as many horses. The railway partly ran along the French road, two tunnels and a gallery built. First cargo pulled by horses, later small locomotives. Both branches of the railway, first from Črni vrh to Lokve and second from Idrija to Dolenje Trebuša, were almost 100 km long. Unbelievable how they built back then and how today....The path is interesting, one part connected with via ferrata. At the end need to descend to road in time because of impassable landslide. We visited Divje jezero. Overnight at Hleviška Planina, where excellent caretakers Majda and Gorazd spoiled us, all food excellent, from lunch to jota, žlikrofi, ocvirkovec, apple strudel, super, super, thanks to both.
Afternoon shorter circular tour, hop to the top, views all around and see you soon again.

You completely mixed up geographical terms. Hleviška planina and the farm at Kenda are on a completely different ridge, so you traveled more than 20 km in one direction.
Fig.3, where you picked wild garlic. In this area visitors usually leave dogs when visiting the hut.

If you saw the sign "Sp.Idrija", it doesn't mean it's the upper one, quite the opposite "German".

Even Spodnja Idrija is an artificial name that no local takes seriously.
No chance anyone from "central Slovenia" gets the peculiarities of these places.
