Congratulations on the 10th anniversary and successful meeting. You all look fine, it would be nice for us who didn't (couldn't) participate in this meeting if you wrote names under some picture too. Maybe we'll meet sometime.

Everything suggests that on this forum mainly those who don't like mass activities in mountains post. Tortica would probably be welcome to all of us. This of course doesn't mean that lots of friendships weren't made here and joint hikes carried out. Information is also transmitted publicly and privately. Free access to descriptions of various paths and peaks is possible. Definitely commendable for both editors Rok and Tadej who "brought this forum into the world". Although some in mountaineering circles criticize and belittle it, it's very important for info on current conditions. Sometimes debates stray a bit, but if offensive stuff is deleted, nothing wrong with that. It would be interesting after 10 years to do a survey among forum visitors showing where we err and how to improve. One suggestion that has come up many times and would contribute to better post quality is undoubtedly that members reveal their real name and surname. All congratulations to Rok and Tadej on the nice anniversary of their and our forum!

Even on Facebook there are problems with socializing, at least judging by asking others. They don't like mass ascents, nor do I, except in some cases. Up to three is top, for more only if ascent is easy. Main thing is that the event happens.

By nature hiking is not a team sport and many of us go to the mountains for peace, some kind of relaxation and to escape from, I don't know exactly what. This is reflected in participation in mass hikes and similar events. + what dprapr said - very good

dprapr in principle I agree with what you wrote. Just don't know what good my real name and surname (Anja Križnič) will do. I have quite a few namesakes if someone plans to search me on Google. If someone thinks because of my name and surname I'll think better what I type, well I won't (anyway I've already posted email multiple times in small ads from which name and surname are visible, posted mobile number too). If photocopy of ID is mandatory for hribi.net signup, I think the portal will go to hell... yeah sarcastic again. Who is most annoying here most often anyway is known, and only that one doesn't hide name or surname. My suggestion is just strict deletion of posts that don't belong here (with my values).

I completely agree with your last sentence, although sometimes one of my comments will go to trash. Miri Bratuš

Anja, that was just my suggestion. That's why a poll on similar questions would be welcome, to find out what others think about it and more. Planinski vestnik also improved after polls. Otherwise I myself didn't "reveal" at the start either. Somehow I feel you "stand" better for your post if "signed" below.

Damn also, how much some of you are bothered if personal names aren't used on forum. No one forced you to use them either. Matter of each individual's decision, right. When hiking in mountains it doesn't occur to me to ask the one I chat with a bit for name and surname. Issue probably solvable quickly. Those who don't fit you cuz we use only nicks let forum admin block and you'll remain only pedigreed ones. With such writing you want to show that precisely we username users spoil this forum. Once you clean that you'll find another culprit anyway. Maybe then person's gender will play role or from which end of country someone comes. Who knows what else.

Congratulations on the 10th anniversary and successful hike. I apologize in advance, but I can't stay quiet on the user anonymity topic as it's been poked again. As for publishing user name and surname, I see it as just imposing own egoistic views and disrespecting the privacy right of those who didn't decide to publish. Here, I advocate that those with published name and surname remove it. Or publish examples of good forum practices where name and surname display is mandatory. Otherwise, I have no problem publishing name and surname, because I hide nothing and fear no one. But some time ago via ZS someone well known here forced publishing name and surname. Since I don't like anyone imposing anything, naturally I won't do it just for that.

I repeat congratulations to Becar. Tadej, congrats also for two korenjaks growing like nettles who will sooner or later replace us in mountain visits. Becar, on user anonymity fully agree with you. On abusing ZS for imposing personal ideas or convincing something is low. Lp

Let me touch on it too, you know who. Until now I've been quiet. Maybe ignoring would be the most effective. I know quite a few troublemakers who are the best at everything and know everything. Their path is the only right one. They see the meaning of life in wise-cracking and embittering others' lives and spreading negative energy wherever they appear.

Whoever is not capable of sensible dialogue on the forum under a nickname, won't be with their real name either, as they will enter a fake one already during registration.

Finally, I don't care what the attendance was at the round celebration of the 10th anniversary of Hrib.net, but it is not even a shadow of that one under Črna prst. Given the number of registered active users of the portal, which averages 500 - 600 members, such a low response is only proof that something is terribly wrong in our society. In India for example, just by crossing a 100m street by stopping people with friendly gestures, I talked at least with a dozen of them. Then they told me to stop by again on the way back. At home even neighbor doesn't know neighbor anymore, all this is worth thinking about. Even Muslims here say that after completing the minaret, in a few years laws in Slovenia will anyway be changed and written to their advantage, only the extinction of the nation follows, which was also confirmed by former politician Ivan Oman.

Viharnik, "such a low response is only proof that something is terribly wrong in our society". In my opinion they allowed in our Slovenia capitalism of the most primitive kind. No need to list examples, because media bombard us with them. Some friendship and camaraderie still exists in the countryside and in our beautiful mountains. One beautiful exception is also the Hribi.net portal. So I won't bother anymore - lp!
