Reviving old paths. Past Svatenškova farm but only to the fence, where I turn right. I follow the path in an arc to the meadow below the steep face, where I cross the fence to the right and take the hunting path (which leads to the upper Korošica waterfalls), but only to the point where the ridge is sensed and the path goes over the stream valley. Here I leave the clearly visible hunting path and head steeply upwards. The path is sensed and the first few ascents are a bit less visible, then as the views open, the path opens up too. Orientation is not difficult, you walk up along the ridge. The path is very steep, solitary and scenic. Above the Korošica landslide I also caught the trail that leads from the ridge down to the hunting path. I'll check it next time. Further through beautiful hayfields to Les and then to Osredkov ridge, which I follow over Planjava, Kamniški vrh and down Bosova sija to the car. Solitary first part of the path, which is still visible to me.

New steps on old paths - Hunter's trail to Planina Osredek. Kamniški vrh holds a special place for me and I always enjoy exploring the old paths marked on "old" maps that few people still venture onto. The central summits of the ridge above Stahovica are my testing ground for physical fitness, while everything left and right of them nourishes the soul and thus mental health This time I don't opt for the approach on the hunter's trail from Sp. Slap upwards or from Svatenškova farm towards the ridge, but directly from the "start of the hunter's trail". Start along the path to Korošaški waterfalls but only to the point where we cross the stream. Follow the newly reinforced road left, but only to the bend turning to the other side of the indistinct ridge. Here a visible trail heads steeply upwards, which we follow until we join the first leveling of the hunter's path, leading us right into the solitary world of Korosak's gorge. Solitary, fragrant and free of man-made sounds. Just a stone's throw from the "bustle" on Planina Osredek, Planjava and Kamniški vrh. Between both prongs of the upper waterfalls I detour and briefly check the very steep path/trace, sensing where it leads, and with that I've already planned my next adventure in this area, nicely encompassing the paths under and on Leše and Planina Osredek. At the waterfalls there's peace that warms the heart, towards Planina Osredek and beyond, Kamniški vrh and its range currently offer a true botanical garden. I close the loop along the ridge to Kamniški vrh and down Bosovi šiji. Safe steps, Ben

Slapčič blocks the ideal passage, right? A bit further on, in some mini gates, before the path drops slightly downhill, you can still get through. Up past the nice little firs, briefly right under the rock and up the sandy-grassy gully. Then straight along the ridge to the first clearing. Cross the clearing slightly left and up towards the larger pine (not the one all the way on the left). Among the spruces behind the pine, a passage to the left becomes visible, running parallel to the gully you want. First cross the steep grass, then "around the corner" step onto something path-like. Careful at this spot, right "after the corner", part of the terrain is missing for a completely safe step. Access to the gully is now clear. In the gully itself I continue upwards (two or three steps) to a larger transversely lodged tree and leave it to the left above it (awkward). Some battling with brushwood and then the final ascent to the already familiar ridge. A little path can also be found on this section. The gully itself is still very crumbly, some fighting with brushwood and other branches, some very steep sections, lots of ticks. It's pathless terrain, with remnants of a path and game trails. Demanding. The path you call the hunting path has its own name - Na talar.

Thanks Pastirica! I haven't noticed this name for that little path yet. As for the continuation of the path as you described it - thanks, I think I just trimmed that part a bit yesterday and checked if it would be possible to continue towards the left fork (viewed orientation S-J). One of the pictures, right at the “little gate”. The little waterfall really blocks the ideal passage. Thanks for the help and spreading knowledge! Best regards! LP, Ben

Thanks Pastirica! I think I kind of "latched" the gate, but by feeling and look from there you'd think the path goes completely differently I can't wait to head out again and explore. Thanks for the help! Ben
