Oh zlatica, I'll definitely return too. On the Osredek pasture I saw a sign towards Šenturška gora, above the pasture towards Krvavec. Maybe I'll manage to plan something circular.

Edina, when you're in our parts again, let us know! The lower waterfalls are worth seeing too, from the one you were at, there's a hidden path left uphill to Osredek. And yes, of course you can make a circular tour - shorter or longer, as desired.

Beautiful spring, lush nature in these Edina's pictures! One would happily look at every single one on some calendar! Eyes would rest again and again and thoughts would drift away.
I've been to Kamnik Peak once so far, years ago, and these pictures have motivated me again to go back! I already thought I wouldn't have to.

I love going to Kamniški vrh from Ambrož because it's equally varied on both sides. A bit of traversing, a bit up, a bit down  with beautiful views left to the Kamniške gore and right towards Zakal and Šenturška gora... Going there I go on the sunny side via Planjavica, back traversing behind (shady side). You can also go to Osredek alpine pasture from where there's now a forest path that joins the starting path at the top.
Anyway, Kamniški vrh offers very different paths and is wonderful in one word

Where on the path or at the summit can you look at the Kamniške gore?? That really interests me! I've been looking myself for a position from which I'd have a view of the range, but so far I have been unsuccessful  it's true though that you have a very nice view into the valley, which unfortunately doesn't fascinate me much... :P

Today up past Korošaški Waterfalls to Osredek alpine pasture, then over Planjava to the summit.
Descended via Bosova Šija.
Views were of course there, the best on the ridge...of course.

We really have beautiful nature in the Kamnik area, and so close to home. Just 10 min. by bike and you're in paradise.!!

Is the path on pic. No. 5 already secured somehow, because it's quite tricky to pass on sand? Years ago I went with a friend whom I couldn't get further due to fear, so we went over grass, which resulted in a fall and a month of painful knee.
