I was today on the SW ridge - first time. Above lojtro I must have gone astray somewhere, probably too far left. In that spruce forest I found no good orientation. One rocky jump between spruces I barely climbed. Then I climbed up the gully, which ended with a boulder (pic 1). Past it easier II on the right. Then I found myself on the ridge at a small grassy saddle ca 1820 m (pic 2). From there I traversed right through dense spruces and scree. At first I cursed the scree, but in the end it helped me, as without it it would have been hard to descend the rocky jump to the steep grass under Mali vratci, when I finally reached the “right” pathless terrain. The SW ridge itself is pure poetry. Some trouble still finding the wire between Na križu and Kokrska Kočna. Fog, scree… quite annoying on the pathless descent.

Where did you do the descent? Back the same path or maybe over Dolško Škrbina?
Is the connection from Škrbina to Grintovec still closed due to landslide - no detour anywhere there?

Back directly from Kokrška Kočna down over Dolce. Didn't go to Jezerska Kočna and further over the notch. So don't know in person, but saw a sign at Cojzova koča that the path is closed due to landslide.
