Of course Michael, for the descent we peeked from the top into the fog-shrouded north face. Keep enjoying nice tours and stay safe!nasmeh

Yesterday I visited relatives at the Matizovec farm, where the lady treated me to mother's thyme and yarrow tea. We talked a lot about the weather of old, the time when they barely plowed Stari Ljubelj with horse-drawn sleighs, since the tunnel was built in 62-64, life at this altitude, winters...After the war, sawmill owners hauled wood to Sp. Ljubelj in summer and lived off that earnings through the whole winter, which is now impossible due to state taxes. Pasture quality and consequently milk is incomparably better here, because hay stocks for winter days are mowed only a few times in summer so flowers can grow, giving fodder special quality. In winter Matizovec is fully protected from north wind by the Veliki vrh barrier, but when the Russian pulls from the east, the cold reaches their bones. So daily work at the sawmill due to cold is extremely draining for the body, incomparable to our mere day winter ascents. Riko says that when he drags himself frozen into the warm farmhouse, he sits down and falls asleep at the table right away.
So I load chanterelles into the car and only after 11am set off pathless towards Veliki vrh. I scour all untouched spruce groves, but no sign of boletus. Near Kofc plateau I discover the tower ridge, which has via ferrata-like stuff like on Sp. Plot. Higher I meet quite a few local mountaineers already returning from the top. South wind with fog was quite cold above 1700m. Approaching the summit it cleared and got warmer. Up comes via Hajneža from north the only mountaineer without backpack, so I strengthen him with banana and dates. He says the secured path midway still lacks two cables, so descent there is harder. I lounge 50m below summit in nice mountain sun and nap sweetly, since pleasure hides in small things. I was at such nice altitude, so I continued descent along the ridge to Kofce gora, then along "rooster ridge" to Kofce, which were closed on Friday. Nice short and high tour, these ends of Košuta are really dear to my heartnasmeh.
A different approach to Kofce.1
Up there is already the Kofce plateau, no sign of mushrooms.2

The sign shows 1560 m, in reality it is at least 100 m higher, since at the cross it is already 100 m above Kofce.4

Boletus (grew) in the area of Kranjska Gora. Mid-September I went to the gully. Since the scree was quite large (where there used to be a road is now the streambed), I had to turn into the forest once. I saw 4 nice young boletus without even looking for them.nasmeh

Viharnik, did you also talk to the legendary Matizna? How old is the lady now?

Both are cool and healthy, more than us in the lowland valleys, if I express myself like Tomaž Humarvelik nasmehmežikanje. They both still do all the work during the day, from chopping wood, work in the barn... they live with nature.

viharnik Macesna probably means the aunt matizlo who was in a wheelchair. Unfortunately she's gone.
Otherwise yes all are healthy including the nephew who took over the farm.

Usually Sahaja yogis are buried in coffins because their bones still emit divine vibrations for many years, which is good for the vibration of the earth and surroundings. Otherwise we just pass over, nothing particularly difficultvelik nasmeh.

Today at five in the morning from Mrzlega studenca to Kofce gora, both Toplars and Veliki vrh. Due to almost daily rains the path is muddy in places, weather changeable. Morning cloudy, on the ridge the sun occasionally shone, when we were descending the peaks started wrapping in fog. Also humid and windless. Photo conditions not the best, but live much nicer...
