Today from Hudajužna attempt on Kojca. Wonderful hike on tracks surrounded by sunshine and past Bevk's homestead stopped a bit below the summit when the path was interrupted by the gully of a past snow avalanche, creating an icy platform that I didn't dare even fully look at, let alone cross. Untrodden path and frozen snow with the lonely barrenness of the forest told me to turn back. I had crampons but still went back like on eggshells. Kojca will wait.

Over the weekend after almost a year back on Cerkljansko. Parked at pass Vrh Ravni and in a good hour at summit. Descended to Zakojca; this path very worn from snow and avalanches of which obviously huge number here too. In several places without markers real pathless. In one part larger snow patch under path there must have been bigger avalanche few months ago as grass completely churned and smoothed. At Flandr opened just that day so after half year finally sat somewhere and refreshed. To car then by road. Very nice and almost bit too hot day, only surprised no living soul on path. Thought Kojca more crowded hill. nasmeh

On holiday Monday we ended up far from home in the village of Zakojca, from where we climbed a short and in places very steep path to Kojca. Wonderful places, beautiful views, no one anywhere. Path excellently marked. Trees not yet budding, so we had views all the time around the area, especially a great view of Porezen from the path, the Lower Bohinj Mountains right in front of you.

Summit panoramic, on it a huge haystack. By the hunting hut a larger swing and a bit lower also an outdoor trough with water. We stayed on the summit quite a while, admiring unknown places to us, the wrinkled relief and letting ourselves surrender to peace and quiet.

Return in the direction of the pass Vrh Ravni and then to the starting point in Zakojca. nasmeh
