On Sunday 2.8.2026 we visited Koštrunove špice. We started on path 628 (we left the car by the road a bit higher), which is nicely laid out, also through the remains of military shooting trenches, the path briefly joins the road that leads to Viška planina (below a sign for prohibition), then soon turns back into the forest, where you quickly reach the mountain pasture (water on the pasture flows), from there we continued towards the notch in front of the front crack on the path Anita Goitan, where the markings are very faded, and the path through the grasses is less visible, at the junction where the path crosses to the notch of the last crack we branched off towards Koštrunove špice, we walked mostly on the ridge or to the right of it, then you descend to a small saddle, where you continue on interesting steps, above awaits the harder part, a jump that needs to be climbed and is also a bit "worn", after the jump no more difficulties and you are soon at the top. We descended the same way and then in the direction of the last crack, from there we crossed towards Viš and since it's not far we also stepped on the top of Viš, we descended on the normal path to the abandoned hut Corsi (there is no water there), to Viška planina and on the forest path to the car. Thank you felix, I have already walked the mentioned path, but we started with the Leva path and continued the traverse to the notch before the front crack. Very nice We missed that connection to Viš, further it was already known, then via Gola NE to Viš and via Anita Goitan to the Trbiška notch back to Zajezero. I know he was a great mountain expert, unfortunately I didn't know him, his posts are still very useful on the forum today.
