Križevnik, Velika Zelenica and Veliki vrh

Today, from planina Ravne on a beautiful sunny morning, I headed to planina Polšak. On the planina, where a shepherd's hut once stood (only ruins and charcoal remain), horses were grazing. From the planina I continued to the spring above the planina and further along a poorly visible path to Križevnik (1909m). From Križevnik there was a nice view of Ojstrica and other nearby peaks. From the summit I continued the path towards Molička peč. The path from Križevnik to Molička peč runs along the slopes of Pasjih trat. Part of the path really runs through nice grassy slopes surrounded by larch forest. To the top of Molička peč however you need to break through bushes several times (some sections 10m). From the mentioned summit the view was no longer as nice as in the morning, as clouds had piled up on the highest peaks.
Further I continued the path along the partially snowy slope towards the saddle between Velika Zelenica and Veliki vrh. There the wind greeted me, which accompanied me to both mentioned peaks.
I descended to the saddle and from there returned to the starting point.
The road despite Tuesday's storm is in satisfactory condition. Lp Tadej

From Planina Ravne to Planina Polšak and on to Križevnik summit on a well-trodden path. Then on an unmarked path along the ridge to the west. In between up to Molička peč via pathless terrain. Below Velika Zelenica summit some patches of soft snow. Then to Veliki vrh and descent along its south ridge to marked path, which after Dleskovec leads back to Planina Ravne. Path on shady sides of Dleskovec snowy and icy.

It was a wonderful autumn day today on the circular tour:
planina Ravni-Dolge trate-Veliki vrh - V.zelenica-Molička peč- Poljske device-Križevnik -Poljška planina and back to planina Ravni.

Before the rain I spontaneously head into a knightly duel with the bushes.
From Podvežak towards Molička peč and at the path junction a couple more minutes along the marked path eastwards, where I think I'll handle the ridge to Veliki vrh relatively elegantly. Well, better to stick to established paths, as when the bushes had already beaten me properly, I gentlemanly admitted it was stronger and after a traverse left I headed into the gully and very easily reached the summit. From there I jumped to the neighboring V. Zelenica and along the ridge towards Križevnik, from where I descended to planina Polšak, after which a labyrinth of paths began and continuation of fighting with bushes. When I finally got back to the marked path, looking across the vast fields of bushes I noted that Križevnik is nice from this side, but I still prefer its other face nasmeh

My calves were more than sore enough for one day and the return to the starting point followed.

At this place stood Lučka hut, which was burned down during WWII. It is marked on the KSA map.

Today's rambling on Dleskovska plateau - gorgeous, final goal Velika Zelenica, with the desire to repeat the tour when larches are yellow.
So many beauties we have at home, yet we don't appreciate them ... zavijanje z očmi

Next week we plan from Veliki vrh towards Poljske device then on to Križevnik and back to planina Ravni. Is this path suitable also for a 10-12 year old child? I have read all these comments, but "one notch" is mentioned when descending from V. vrh in the indicated direction. Can someone explain so we know how to organize ourselves? Thanks nasmeh

From Veliki vrh you can descend on a marked path, if descending from Velika Zelenica, also not some big bav bav. mežikanje

Really not marked, but no major difficulties. The path is well traceable and I think a 12-year-old will manage it.

Today did route pl. Ravne, Križevnik, Molička peč, Velika Zelenica, Veliki vrh, Dleskovec, Ravne. Road to pl. Ravne without special features, paths nicely passable.
