From Koča na Gozdu to Visoki Mavrinc and Kumleh Head, path OK and at the end also Prednje Robičje.

Today on Kumleh Head, views reached far and even farther, path completely dry and without features nasmeh

Then also from Tonka's hut, along the old road to Vršič summit. Nicely spent day nasmeh

Today for luxurious views on High Mavrinc and Kumleh Head. Worth it!
On the saddle between VM and KG I noticed a path joining from Za Kumlehom valley. Looked nicely followable. On Mavrinc behind the cross another slightly abandoned path joins from that valley somewhere. Plenty of exploration options!

Since I had to go to Kranjska Gora yesterday, I used the morning for ascent to High Mavrinc and Kumleh Head.
Walking conditions ideal, just no nice views.

at Mihov dom there is a nice view of Špik

and finally a view from Kranjska Gora to Razor and Prisojnik

29.6.2016 we climbed to High Mavrinec and Kumleh Head.Nice panoramic path, quite steep.Lots of hikers.Nice greeting

The day was just right for a short outing. At half past twelve I took the trail to Špica in Sedelci and midway snow started falling, accompanying me all the way. Martuljek peaks looked wild and more desolate under heavy clouds. Prisank occasionally posed photogenically, but was soon covered by a cloud. Most sunlit was Kumleh Head, so I had to visit it.
Path dry, this snow fell lower in the Kamnik Alps than in the Julian Alps.

Kumleh Head, High Mavrinc... No snow anymore, path dry and pleasant. At junction to Mavrinc new parking spots. nasmeh

On Saturday we from Slovenian Mountaineering Club Skala did a nice tour to Visoki Mavrinc and Kumlehova glava. Started at parking of second bend of Vršič road. Path not marked, but cairns at junctions guide to right path. Path to Visoki Mavrinc without features. Path to Kumlehova glava quite steep. One short exposed traverse on path (need more caution), but no big obstacle. Descended to hut at Gozd. Wonderful views at top. Nice mountaineering greeting.

Sunday, 18 Nov...Visoki Mavrinc, Kumlehova glava... Mavrinc had quite some visitors. Little path to Kumlehova glava very frozen. Maybe now in snow step easier. Bushes great help though. Views to mountain beauties covered by clouds. But up there always nice, even in shades of gray. nasmeh

Strange that this Kumlehova glava has only two pages here, yet truly magnificent viewpoint. Of course first to V.Mavrinc, final goal for some, but if you know world opens at top to other snowy rocky peaks, you continue. Even if don't know what's on path then.

No panic, just around two corners more careful. Nothing against views rewarding at top, esp on day nice weather not forecasted.

For crampons yesterday didn't know, but do they help ascent or more hindrance nasmeh

On return short stop at Jasna, usually no time for that.
