Today over Jelovec to Lanež. Return over planina Javorje to Vodol where I parked.
Morning quite frozen. A bit of snow, good sample.

Via Hojnik to Lanež.
From the hut at Grohat we headed straight across the meadow towards the Lanež wall. Rozki quickly spotted the right direction and found the mark for the summit at the forest edge. From there it was easy. The path is mostly well followable, at the entrance to the wall there are even two or three steps, then sweet scrambling to the top.
Nice, solitary, but short. From Bukovnik past Grohat to the summit we took 2 hours.
Back via Durce to the hut for a snack. They have tasty dishes served by friendly and fun Carinthians

Nice. The ridge is an interesting peak, in May 2020 we saw a wild capercaillie and a three-toed woodpecker on it.

Today as a family to Lanež via Javorje, down via Durce back under Loka. Cold and very nice.
The road to Loka is in good condition, clad in beautiful autumn colors. This year's autumn is quite intense.
