If visitors to the mountains learn to carry their trash back to the valley to suitable places, that would already be quite an achievement.. In general I wouldn't mind a cleanup action on hiking trails where the "authorized" municipal service doesn't reach.

These days there's still too much snow, so a couple of hiking trail cleanups within the action were even canceled. Fortunately the situation in the mountains isn't as bad as in the valley.

Up to around 1500 meters altitude there's little or no snow, those trails are also more littered.

Some of us went to clean hiking trails in other areas. I with my friend the path from Zabukovje towards Bohor. We picked two large bags of plastic bottles, paper and cans. If I had more trash bags with me, I'd have found more. On the path we met no one, at the hut and in the logbooks there was quite some traffic. And the saddest thing, on the way back someone threw away a can again. Real hikers don't do that!!!! If there's no order in the head, how in nature.

We're that much cleaner in my neck of the woods. Best regards from under the even prettier Mozirska Planina, Janez.
