Yesterday on skis through Vrata valley to Prag - Luknja junction. Didn't dare further due to constant avalanche noise and common sense. Up to here though: Mojstrana Peričnik road icy - don't recommend driving, Peričnik to Bukovje icy crust which continues to mentioned junction. Not much snow. At Aljažev dom around 50 cm. Terrain not waterlogged, skiing accordingly.

We said we had to go to Luknja while there was still some snow on the path. We also took gear with us just in case. Well, we could've gone without it, but since I had it with me, I used it. First time this year  .
When we arrived in Vrata, we were the 15th in line at 11 degrees. No hikers were seen, not even all the way to Luknja. Just two girls waved to us from afar, saying they were descending from Bovški Gamsovec. Quite an interesting path, stream partly still under snow, as well as the fixed cables in the upper part. Full of flowers along the path, at the top two ibex who didn't let themselves be disturbed much, as they were at home.
We returned past the bivouac under Luknja, owned by A0 Mojstrana, first time for both of us. I've long wanted this path extension. And it was just right, as we walked more in the shade. Worth going on this path now, if not further, at least to Luknja !

Luknja - 9.9... The path trapped between rocks is purely high-alpine. The view of the peaks from this side is different and I can only guess which mountain it belongs to. Luknja, although just a ridge, starting point for other peaks, is a nice tour. The scree also does its part and the feelings are right when you sit down and enjoy.
It was already cold in the morning and gloves come in handy. Also for those who will relive memories like me, just click the link. It was nice

This seems like the next step in deterring the masses from visiting these areas. But the patient is to be found in the above-mentioned category, as it shows that someone wants to keep certain areas without or with as few visitors as possible.
