Mislinja, Črepič, Fričev vrh, Završe, Mislinja

Yesterday morning, me, Esther and Tadej set off to Pohorje. We started around half past seven from foggy Mislinja (598 m), then the path led us first along a cycling trail, then we turned into the forest, the path steeply ascends to Črepič (798 m) through the forest, caution due to wet leaves and roots is advisable!!! On Črepič we snacked and then headed to the slightly higher neighboring Fričev vrh (881 m). Occasionally the sun greeted us through the fog. The path then led us partly through the forest, partly along cart tracks to Sv. Vid above Valdek or Završe (815 m), the place boasts two very well-preserved churches (Sv. Rupert and Sv. Vid). We then continued past some farms, at one of them a friendly young guy showed us the whole farm, we chatted a bit more, then continued towards foggy Mislinja. We reached the starting point a bit after 2 pm.

I was on the same trip yesterday, the only difference being that I wasn't on Pohorje.

Where were you then if not on Pohorje? It's closest to Pohorje, in Karavanke can't really say we were close

I agree with Tadej, sorry Hribovc88 - Črepič peak 781m you'll find in the Karavanke list, probably it's their eastern end somewhere here. Click the mountain list on the left margin and you'll check.

That confused me a bit, since the Mislinja area officially falls under Pohorje, but here is the junction of Pohorje and Karavanke, so I was in a dilemma and put the mentioned hills (Črepič and Fričev vrh) under Pohorje. But both hills are definitely in Carinthia... haha we're there again

On Easter Monday 96 hikers and women hikers from PD Mislinja and PD Slovenj Gradec set out on the traditional Easter hike along the circular path Mislinja-Črepič-Fričev vrh-Završe-Mislinja. There are four checkpoints on the path, the first checkpoint is at pizzeria Vagon in Mislinja, the second on Črepič, the third on Fričev vrh and the last in the hunting lodge in Završe.
The weather served us quite well, only in the morning at seven at the start in Mislinja it was foggy.

Yesterday after Holy Mass at Sv. Jošt on Paški Kozjak, I first climbed the nearby Špik (1108 m), then drove to Mislinja (598 m), from where I climbed the nearby hill Črepič (798 m), which is part of the circular path Mislinja-Črepič-Fričev vrh-Završe-Mislinja.

Yes, quite nice this tour. I also go over it often, then to Štefka for coffee. We have also
gone together several times on PD
Mislinja hikes.

Yes this tour is very nice and picturesque, soon I plan to go the whole trail, last time I went 27.04., when there was the traditional Easter hike
p.s. - do we know each other then , if I have the right two in mind, I must say we haven't seen each other for quite some time, last time we slightly missed due to misunderstanding on the hike to Paški Kozjak

@čemaž, yes it was great last time on the hike across Pohorje, pity we didn't go on foot to Mislinja after, but it drags from there when Mrs. Marica has the weekend, down to Mislinja
See you on one of the next hikes, if not before then on Triglav hehe (04.08.), if you're going of course, I decided to go, if the weather favors us, hopefully it will

On a wonderful, sunlit holiday Monday I decided to go on a hike along the circular trail: Mislinja-Črepič-Fričev vrh-Završe-Mislinja, with such weather it'd be a real sin to stay home, I started the trail relatively late, left Mislinja only at 13:30, so I just made it back to Mislinja while still light (at 16:30). Let the photos tell more.

Bravo hribovc. You managed to really capture Mislinja and surroundings at the right
time. Personally
I like autumn best, as with wonderful colors
it announces the end of the year and the coming of a somewhat less
nice winter.

On a wonderful, sunlit holiday day (08.02.), I decided to head to nicer places, as it was a winter day in the true sense (cold, snow blanket, not a cloud), which was inviting into nature. After a long time I went on a winter hike on the circular trail Mislinja-Črepič-Fričev vrh-Završe-Mislinja. Let the photos below tell more

This afternoon I went on a hike along the circular trail Mislinja-Završe-Fričev vrh-Črepič-Mislinja. Hiking conditions were quite tough today, as most of the trail wasn't trodden (kept sinking almost up to my ass and beyond ), so I was the first to break trail, only trodden from Črepič to Vovkarij. Weather served me great up to St. Rupert's church in Završe, from there it was like another world, thick fog, wind that then calmed a bit, thick fog accompanied me all the way to Mislinja, where it was foggy all day.
When I staggered into Mislinja I couldn't feel my feet anymore, both from cold and from very very strenuous trailbreaking. Add that under normal conditions I do the trail in three hours, today I hiked or better said broke trail for four and a half hours.
