For treatment after injuries sustained in ... hiking, sport climbing, mountain biking,... the injured will have to pay 60% of treatment costs out of pocket.
Lucky that "couch-potatoing" and all its harmful consequences weren't included on the list so we can continue lounging on the couch till incapacitated and generously support the pharmaceutical industry.

For treatment of excessive weight, cholesterol... heart and vessels there will be NO NEED TO CO-PAY ANYTHING. I'm interested after how much time they will realize these are diseases of modern vices of lounging, idling, quick jump to shopping centers. Anyway, people for whom walking in the hills is a way of life and spending our free time will continue to do it

Don't worry, the main thing is that insurance companies have profit - that's the essence of our country - since we even have in the coat of arms picture of our biggest insurance company, right

Incredible how quickly "recreational" athletes become "extremists". We are to blame ourselves, why do we need to ski, climb mountains, cycle and such !!! I hope they abolish physical education in schools too, since kids don't like it anyway. And also so as not to accustom young people early to snow (skiing), water (swimming), cycling. And to teach them that mountains are now only looked at from below. Every minus has a plus: one couch lasts at least 15 years if you lie quietly on it, sports gear is expensive as hell and needs to be changed constantly. Madonna, we'll "save" !!!

What do we want if our country is only held by greed, inability to create and collecting taxes. This year I bought additional touring ski gear that cost me over a thousand or 1/3 of a vehicle. But in life we shouldn't look at everything only through accumulating material goods, but at living the moment in full meaning. Much more important than everything is movement in nature, contact of spirit with nature that strengthens and revives senses, traveling to distant places and meeting people, training in martial arts club, yoga, helping people etc. All this enriches the spirit and gives it some meaning and existence of being. The human spirit has no limits, as described by Tomaž Humar too. It lives only those who believe in the original nature of spirit and their mind is not distorted or taken by ego and impression of senses (sight, hearing, this worldly beliefs structure and forms of modern time). Being one with oneself and spirit means only to discard all we "learned" from this world and allow the spirit (heart, intuition) to guide us, where only when thoughts quiet down we are close to it-spirit-Father and the true path of unity of life's moment. Sri Mataji says that those who see and describe in detail the moment of looking at a flower (its color shades, shape, scent, feeling of the flower), that one surely lives in unity of spirit, consequently strong and detailed perception and joyful feeling of creation, in this case the flower.

Yes, such a proposal was probably written by those emptyheads who rot in offices of various ministries and in chasing career most of life don't even know if it's day or night outside.....

Yes, one really doesn't know what our excellent politicians think. With this law they deter people from recreation, healthy lifestyle. And let smokers pay 60% for cancer treatments, cholesterol etc... to which smoking contributes.

For every trifle we have in our dear SLO at least consultative, if not legislative referendum. Mountaineers, alpinists, hikers, divers, cyclists, snowboarders, paragliders etc. etc. etc., girls and wives, boys and husbands, unite, collect a couple of wagonloads of signatures and to voting !!! God doesn't like them !!!

These are the official guidelines of the Ministry of Health for writing the new Health Insurance Act.

That's how it is, as Tol says. Not (yet) adopted, just guidelines. But where there's smoke, there's fire. Don't count on "official" organizations (PZS, sports clubs, etc.), because even if someone speaks up they'll quickly silence him, as all are "plugged" to the state teat (finances). So nothing good awaits us. Haven't paid for patria yet, but ordered humvees. Nothing doing, expensive state, money nowhere to collect and people suffering. Madonna, did we fight for this?!?

Don't complain so much about the state, since we have a government that can really boast nice achievements: footballers qualified for world championship, winter olympics already three medals, games not even finished yet.

Žan, you forgot to mention we now have a traffic light in government too (IMO it'll shine non-stop red light, and we know where that shines anyway

Well they've valued our nature movement and possible injuries. Three broken ribs - round THOUSAND (Majdič's Petra lucky law not adopted yet). Of course only treatment not intervention, rescue,... Knee dislocation - 320 €(hospital), head injury few stitches local anesthesia 77 €,... just so you know how much you save each time nothing happens. GUARD THE COUCH LIKE THE APPLE OF YOUR EYE!

What problems are you making. In capitalism, also with us, you've gotta pay for everything. For injuries in adrenaline sports, you'll insure separately.

The most adrenaline sport is arriving in the morning intact at work... or would they introduce a premium for that too?

No, when I read this thread, I also get pissed off about our MPs who propose such laws, then it's really best that we all just stay home lying around vegging on the couch next to fatty roast and a barrel of beer or coca-cola, that way we'll best contribute to the health fund. But since almost all good-minded people on this portal know that we go to the mountains for our soul and body, no law will stop us, not me. If you agree on a referendum, I promise I'll bring you at least 100 signatures. Nice greetings and good luck.

They are really stupid with this law. Personally I'm trying to lose a few more kilos, I can hardly wait to be able to go to the mountains again, to additionally lose those 25kg to normal weight, or I could just not bother and rather lie at home and go to the doctor every month because of this and that pain, most often in the chest, and because of pressure, .....I wouldn't like to talk/write about my exact weight, but I can say that I had BMI around 35 now around 30.

| turbo26. 02. 2010 14:51:25 |
Mate07, just be brave and congrats for strong will. Otherwise, many who govern us also have 30-35. But unfortunately not BMI, but IQ. At least that's my feeling........
