I think you made the right decision, for EP you have to be rested, I'm on sick leave  , my nails are falling off, a whole lot of blisters, almost invalid

Bojan, during preparations watch your ankles. Yes, Marjan, that's the champion's toll, if I joke a bit. A few years ago I also had similar problems on longer races. This year I practically have no consequences from this race, not even muscle fiber. Given my hiking result - 2 hours and 6 minutes behind you, the condition is appropriate too.

Just one good week until the 13th Mountain Marathon of Four Municipalities. Preparations are more or less finished. Now we just impatiently await the start and hope for nice weather. Welcome runners as well as casual hikers along the course!

Today the last running training before GM40 - from home to Koča na Dobrči and back = 23 km and 1250 elevation meters. Together with other trainings there were in the last 8 days as much as 5500 elevation meters and 105 km. Now only regeneration, hope it succeeds.

Thanks for the photo and cheering!
In Podbrdo we were greeted by fantastic atmosphere and very pleasant weather for running. Teklay shot out from the start and ran his race. He was followed by Žontar, Bratina, Zupančič and Štendler. Not far behind I was running in a group with Justin. At the top of Črna prst I was only a minute behind the leading Slovenians. Then came an unpleasant descent for me, where I lost a lot. From Hude Južine to Porezen it flew again, I even caught Štendler, but Justin escaped ahead. From the top of Porezen to the finish it turned into a descending mess for me, I lost 4 places and at least 10 minutes. But I crossed the finish uninjured as tenth. Thanks to the organizers and thanks to the supporters along the track. You rock!

Bojan, congrats! I almost never come to cheer. But I've been following your mountain running for years. I've walked almost all of your running route recently from Kal village and also last Wednesday from Za Črno goro highland.
