Grega, yes, I already have Pot v planine by Rafko Dolhar.
Natasja, one of my favorite books in this field is also Sledovi ptic by Danilo Cedilnik.
Nice short stories for the soul. I recommend.
It can occasionally be found in antiquarian bookstores too.

What about from Marjan Lipovšek: Steze, smučišča in skale?
This book has accompanied me my whole life and I always venture to its pages again and it always fascinates me.nasmeh

Here, I just read "S prijatelji pod macesni" by Matjaž Kmecl and I must say it's pretty good. Light, interesting language, nicely described experiences and feelings, nice interweaving of stories, and I even laughed. In general, it's worth reading.

When I browsed a bit through the library and the web for the suggested books, I found that quite a few older books can be got on Bolha or in the Online Antiquarian (Bukvarna.net).

Hello

Here you list mountaineering literature, especially older editions. But can someone tell me where one could buy these books, at least by domestic authors?
I buy literature from the Slovenian mountaineering publisher, but they have a very modest selection. I don't know why they don't reprint at least our classics like Kmecejezenlj, Avcin and similar.jezen

As "natasja" wrote to you. Via online antiquarian - Bukvarna.net and Bolha portal. I just browsed and found quite a few interesting ones. If you're strolling around Ljubljana, you can also drop by some antiquarian:
antikvariat Glavan, Trubarjev antikvariat, antikvariat Cunjak, next to the former Triglavska restaurant there's also one...
Some are available at PZS, under fiction or specialist literature. You can write what you're looking for, and I'll gladly help.

I have some more book titles that enthused me during reading and might brighten the day for others too:
- Aleš Nosan: Zavetja odmaknjenih poti
- Pavel Kunaver: Brezna in vrhovi
- Jože Abram: Moja Trenta
- Reinhold Messner: Življenje na skrajnih mejah
- Greg Mortenson: Tri skodelice čaja

That's how, thanks to the read books, there are more and more untrodden paths ahead of us, more and more unconquered peaks, and the wishlist keeps getting longer.

Just read the book by Samo Rugelj: Triglavske potinasmeh

The book thrilled me more than I expected, as besides path descriptions it also shares his personal experiences, from his childhood years all the way to his last ascent starting the hike in Ljubljana. The book thrills others too, as there were quite a few reservations behind me in the library.

My thoughts keep returning to its content, I could read it again from the beginning.
Then it's already worth readingnasmeh

A book just read. I can only say, wonderful!
Unique gift for mountain lovers, adventure lovers, off-trail hikes, and also long trails, in our as well as foreign mountains.
The longer I read it, the more it thrilled me, and more and more I relived my own mountaineering stories and paths with the author while reading. I truly recommend it, definitely worth rereading too nasmeh!!

Well, I already got the upper book as a gift, but this one I read yesterday. It talks about the life story of alpinist Ceneta Kramar, who died on honeymoon in the French Alps, aged only 27. He climbed with Kamniški AO (1950-1977).
