Mountaineering literature

Hi. I'm interested if you read anything on the topic of mountaineering and alpinism, and if you have any suggestion for a good book from this field? I like literature that isn't strictly technical, but also describes experiences, sensations, feelings... it could be said that it's poetic mountaineering . I liked e.g. Pot (Nejc Zaplotnik), Biseri pod snegom and Zvezdnate noči (Dušan Jelinčič), Ni nemogočih poti (Tomaž Humar), Tomaž Humar (Bernadette McDonald)... Thanks for the ideas .

I personally recommend both latest books by Bernadette McDonald- the already mentioned Alpine Warriors and Freedom Climbers. By the way, does anyone have the book Rafko Dolhar: Poti IZ planin (1974)? I've been looking for it for a long time.

Oops, how could I forget this one... Edo Deržaj - Gruh. Eternally relevant classic Interesting is also this one: dr. Klement Jug - Stena in smrt. Maybe not exactly poetic, but definitely worth reading. The author's thinking is at times simply stunning

It's not a direct answer to the question posed, but I hope sufficiently indirect, maybe useful for someone else, seeing that you are enthusiastic readers here (among whom I count myself). I was fiddling with Cobiss and compiled a list of books about the Himalayas, in Slovenian. I know most of them anyway, but stumbled upon quite a few interesting surprises. Links are to Cobiss stock in Ljubljana City Library, since that's where I go. Sorry to all enrolled in other libraries... https://postopanje.wordpress.com/2016/10/15/himalajsko-branje-poizkus-bibliografije/
