Where is Zgornja Trenta? Between Spodnja and Zadnja? Can't find it on the map.
Isn't Gorenjska up to Soča?
This peak isn't right on the Gorenjska side.

...above Log the valley named Zgornja Trenta heads straight north to the characteristic Trenta settlement Pri Cerkvi, soon after starts turning gradually northwest to the Soča spring inlet under slopes of Velika Dnina. Here the valley as Zadnja Trenta turns first west, then southwest...

Turbo, I mentioned Upper Trenta in connection with one of the previous questions, of course it's not in Gorenjska.
But that sentence is really a bit awkwardly written  -looks like it refers to the previous one, but it doesn't.

Bojan, I mentioned Soča because I read that the western border of Gorenjska is Soča. Probably on a shorter section.
Interesting discussion, but we're looking for the name of the mountain we can approach also via this ledge in the picture.

Soča and its catchment always belonged to Primorska, check the border of the former Tolmin municipality! The pic unfortunately tells me nothing because it covers too small an area...
