Graga, shooting blanks again. You've delved too much into "Fairy tales and legends of Gorjanci".

Look at the map of Slovenia and you'll see that Sava doesn't flow east-west to confirm your question. Its flow is almost diagonal across the map of Slovenia. In orientation we know terms "left and right bank". You determine it by the flow, by standing by the river and positioning yourself so you look downstream. Then like with soldiers left-right and the problem is solved. Now decide what you want to know. Best regards.

Is there a church on the saddle?

@Julius, that was geographically unconvincing. A map can be oriented in nature (determine S) in several ways: compass, watch; course of objects in environment; or matching lines of roads, railways or rivers with those on map... Therefore we can easily define position of some peak, range or place relative to chosen term. E.g. Bohor, Krim or Celje have relative to e.g. Sava river certain geo. direction. Of course here we're not talking about orientation of certain place or peak, clear also from my question. So talking about l. or r. bank, diagonal flow completely unnecessary. And lots of positive orientation I wish.

Meanwhile the bank has limited width. The sky direction does not.

Grega, Einstein said one more thing in the world is unlimited. Piotr, your orientation claims apply to certain points and not at all to a river flowing through whole Slovenia. The claim would be realistic if Sava above Ljubljana flowed somewhat straight from east to west. You don't need to orient the Slovenia map at all to see how Sava flows, because every normal map is already drawn correctly, plus geographic longitudes and latitudes are drawn and written. I wish you a nice evening. p.s. The match in Paris was really good.

Julij - example Trebnje. Definitely south of Sava! Or can we say it's on the right bank (more than 20 km from the bank)? Little morgen!

You are right, but only if looking from Hrastnik, if from Brežice then western. Or funny. Hope we won't rework whole Slovenia map on what is south and what north of Sava. Time someone guesses it. Mountain in SLO Below 1000 m Due poor roads from LJ not far km but drive drags. Nearby other peaks (nice interesting) Pic from Dec 2016. Need more?

Not Stražar. You're close with the height though.

Based on everything said before, it pulls me to those areas. Those two peaks fit the topography there somehow for me. Visoko - Kurešček - Rašica - Turjak. Around there. Is it on the right along Iška or. Iški V.? Of course looking downstream!
