The pyramidal shadow surprised me too, as an interesting light effect. The real shape of the mountain is given by that softer shadow.

With us everything ends in Resia, even the sun sets there ...about shadows in Log valley under Mangart though ...

Sorry, but I'm understanding you less and less, which peak is this then and which valley? Somehow it seems like Veliki vrh or Rombon, on the other hand it could really be Mangart and Log pod Mangartom, anyway nothing is clear to me at all, you write like you're making a riddle not giving the answer, hehe.

Yes "svicr", taken from Rombon, on the left is the slope of "gozdne kure", behind it part of the infamous Stože slide is visible.
